LING JIXU

Ling Ji Xu started his music journey with his secondary school band in 2010. He started playing the Tenor Saxophone at 13 and decided to pursue Clarinet as his major instrument at 18. He graduated from University Putra Malaysia with Bachelor Degree of Music Performing Major.
 
Throughout Ji Xu’s musical journey, he had performed with a diverse number of ensembles, including the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO), Kuala Lumpur City Opera (KLCO), Young Malaysians Go Classic II (YMGC II), THE MIKADO, Philharmonic Winds of Malaysia, KLPAC orchestra. He joined the performances such as YMGC II and THE MIKADO under the baton of Kevin Field. He was also a guest Clarinet player of Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in the “SENORITA, Carmen” program which was under the baton of Gerard Salonga.
 
Aside from music, Ji Xu likes to play badminton and travel around for good food. He likes to spend time watching Anime and drama. Occasionally, he also plays some games.
